Enjoy Nong Nooch Gardens
Farm Turns To Top Tourist Attraction

Back in 1974 (35 years ago) Bangkok businessman Mr. Pisit and his wife Nong Nooch, purchased 600 acres of land at Na-Jomtien, not too far from the present day “Golden Buddha” and the nearby temple. While this land was an investment in their future, Mr. Pisit single handedly started to develop a garden that could be used in movie sets. Being a frequent overseas traveler, he hit upon the idea of having different sections for plants & flowers from different countries, and later added a few fruit trees as well. Somewhere along the way, around 29-years ago, their garden project exploded into a huge tourist attraction by popular demand, and it grew beyond their wildest dreams. Today it consists of 25-separate immaculately maintained, international gardens of gigantic proportions, with the Pisit’s favourite being the French styled garden area. Of course being Thailand, elephants were added for the benefit of tourists, and these gentle giants are highly trained to perform a wide variety of tricks for the benefit of visitors. We asked the Sales & Marketing Division Manager, Khun Chiraparit Sodorn, (with his 20-years experience), to name the most popular attractions, and these were the elephants and the orchid house. With a big majority of visitors coming from India, Russia and Korea, he added that for 20-years “Nong Nooch Gardens” have offered bungalows (from 1,100 baht daily), and the eighty new “Rimsuwan” apartments built over water are proving very popular.

The opening of their new hotel, includes complimentary facilities such as swimming pool, club, the existing conference centre, and not forgetting their International, Thai, Chinese and new seafood restaurants.

Our welcoming host was M/s Yaowalak Kimsaeng (the Assistant Sales & Marketing Manager), who informed us that “Nong Nooch Gardens” always have special event promotions for Valentines Day, Song-Kran, Loy-Krathong or even your own wedding.
